About Wilsen Initiative (Wi)

We are a team of young professionals, role models and change makers who inspire and aspire to educate our peers to use their talents and skills for positive social change.

Our mission is to develop positive young change-makers in informal settlements in Kenya.

Our vision is to have a society of self-confident young people who inspires positive change using their talents and skills for prosperity.

Wilsen Initiative (Wi) spots talents and guides it on the right path by providing the much needed platforms for a young person to grow and express themselves. Wilsen Initiative (Wi) has started first within the Mathare slums in Nairobi and will later extend all over Kenya.

How We Do It!

We train youth in skills that facilitate critical and creative thinking processes in tackling social-economic challenges in the society. One of our vehicles or tools for outreach is the Football for Change program that connects the young people with opportunities like training workshops, employment, self discovery etc.

Our program are designed to be the venues for sharing information, sparking conversation, and supporting youth in identifying and establishing new networks.
